Pedal Universe is a small shop located in Harlem (we might just be NYC’s smallest and most reasonably priced bike shop) that offers reconditioned bicycles for sale. We sell brand name bikes, including Trek, GT, Gary Fisher, Specialized, Schwinn, Giant and others. Our wide selection is conveniently displayed online with a picture, price and description. Learn from Mikhail’s experience: you should never buy until you've figured out which bike is right for you. That is why we offer a 7 day, no-questions-asked exchange/return policy. Pedal Universe understands what it’s like being a New Yorker with a bike. Buying a bicycle is more than just riding it around the block. There are logistics such as parking, carrying the bike up four flights of stairs and - the greatest challenge - storing it in your tiny apartment. And of course, the most important attribute of bike ownership – can you brag about your bike to others?

Even though innovations in materials and technology have improved the biking experience dramatically, most of it is found on higher priced models. The brand-new mid-priced bikes use the same components as the older models. This allows us to offer great bikes for half the price of similar priced new bicycles.
